A one-two Apple style!

July 25, 2008

After having some trouble with my macbook pro’s battery life I was considering buying a new battery for it. Luckily my fiance bought it as a small gift. Well when I opened the case and inspected the instructions and did as I was told this was the result:

The instructions in the case…

And the so called documentation in the MacbookPro:

Now by documentation that came with it I’m assuming they are referring to the battery. I could however be completely wrong and it could be pointing me in the direction of the documentation within the hard drive somewhere. But when I searched for documentation in my hard drive the best I got was this..

Passionate Fans Ever Since!

June 12, 2008

Although I am a supporter of the Turkish club Galatasaray the videos below include both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. I wanted to portray the passion of the fans in Turkey. The number of fans in the stadium are very low in comparison to other European stadiums but this is as passionate as football can get. As they say football is a religion to them 🙂

Fenerbahce (confetti rain) Just listen to the fans!

The stadium is on fire! Galatasaray!!

Another Derby with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray (voted the world’s best derby!)

What do you think?

Euro 2008: Turkey!

June 12, 2008

Considering that I am Turkish (and a very nationalistic one) I truly enjoy watching my team compete in internationally recognized competitions. Euro is being watched all over the world and to be in the last 16 gives me pride. Today Turkey played Switzerland and I had the chance to watch it in a pub in England owned by Turkish. The place was packed full of them and the atmosphere was great! I felt like I was in the stadium itself. The game itself, although ended in a dramatic win, wasn’t so great. The referee literally killed the game by calling out fouls every few minutes without reason. The rain could have been the reason for the lack of vision but these referees should be world class referees!

However, to see my side score an extraordinary goal in the 92nd minute and bring back our hope for the Euro competition was a feeling I cannot describe in words. You have to live it to understand. I don’t want to go on with this because if I start with football I can write till tomorrow. Head on over to http://www.euro2008.uefa.com and see for yourself!

Everything starts somewhere..

June 11, 2008

It’s been years now that I’ve been browsing the web doing almost ‘anything & everything’ there is to it. It has been fascinating however to see the sheer power and money involved in this monster network. Even more fascinating has been the tales of people who tame and utilize this monster to rub off some of that power, and in return, money onto themselves. And ‘some’ of the internet is not a small some. I finally decided to join in all of this madness. This is just a start. A means to an end. Hopefully that end will be as interesting as those who have reached it, and not stopping there, have carved out new roads to more powerful ends..

I am hoping in this blog to just post interesting, funny, powerful, articles or photos.. or news.. or just about anything & everything..
